SHI International Corp., headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey, is a global provider of information technology software, hardware and professional services to small and medium businesses, large enterprises, healthcare providers, government organizations and educational institutions. Supported by 1,600 employees, SHI has 25 offices across the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, France and Hong Kong. Privately-held and under the same ownership since its founding in 1989, SHI has grown organically without the benefit of any acquisitions. SHI closed 2010 with $3 billion in revenue and is ranked #19 in the 2011 CRN VAR500 list of top VARs in North America, ranked by solution-provider services revenue.[1][2][3] In July 2011, SHI International Corp. announced revenue of $1.8 billion for the first half of 2011, an increase of 33% as compared to $1.3 billion recorded in the first half of 2010.[4] On October 25, 2011, SHI announced their third quarter revenues were up 29%. SHI recordered strong domestic and international sales growth in its Enterprise and Corporate Sales divisions, growing 25% and 103%, respectively.[5]

Cloud Center

SHI International Corp. announced it will be opening a new $20 million cloud services data center in Somerset, New Jersey that will be operational in July, 2011.[11][12] SHI will be using a series of best-of-breed, high performance components from manufacturers like Hewlett Packard, VMware, McAfee, Cisco and EMC in their state of the art data center. Somerset, NJ based LabVantage Solutions, Inc., a provider of enterprise laboratory informatics software, will be SHI Cloud's first Beta customer. [13]

On March 21, 2011, Microsoft revealed its Top 10 U.S. Cloud Partners for Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS). SHI International Corp. is ranked #6 on this list with 70 customers.[14]
